I found the colour consultation with Kate very useful. Early in the consultation Kate said that I already had a good idea of what colours suit me – so it was good to get confirmation that I was on the right track already. I don’t normally feel the need to look good as I mostly work from home. However, when I’m going to meet a new client, I feel that what I wear every day is not suitable. That was my only reason for using Kate’s services. I was a bit reluctant at first, as I didn’t want some woman going through my wardrobe, but Kate was very professional and efficient.

I actually enjoyed the whole experience and we really didn’t spend too much time in the shops, which I was extremely grateful for.

As a freelance communications consultant working across the sectors, I was finding it really hard to get my business style right. One day I’ll be working in a charity, where the dress code is fairly laid-back, the next I’ll be meeting with lawyers who have a very formal approach to dressing for business.
